The Mission Support Fund provides for trips to Guatemala to further the relationship, staff in Guatemala, school supply donations, and emerging projects.

Recurring, or monthly, donations (Esperanza PARTner) help the most, allowing Esperanza to respond quickly to emerging needs. ​​​

Education is empowering. It's the single most significant way to improve someone's life trajectory, especially a girl's. The Scholarship Fund makes that happen!

Providing a full scholarship at any level, or donating to the scholarship fund, creates the opportunity for a student in Guatemala to help themselves and their family. 

 

This is our most significant program. 

The Women's Economic Development Fund:

This fund will provide working capital to develop marketable handcrafts made by the women of Nimasac with the goal of income generation, and to support the aspirations of Nimasac women to

• Partner with current organizations who acquire, market, and sell handcrafts from developing countries,

•        Work on potential quality control issues,

•        Help the women learn the value of their work vis-à-vis demand and supply,

•        Understand better the economic situation in rural Guatemalan towns like Nimasac where there is no local bank and bartering/cash remains the primary system, and

•        Profile training and instruction in financial literacy, a long-term process.
